Apex Archaeology Inc.’s vision is to operate as a carbon zero archaeological consulting firm, while being an industry leader in First Nations engagement and consultation. To these ends, Apex Archaeology Inc. will be built on strong, meaningful relationships with First Nations and other stakeholders to provide unparalleled, environmentally-friendly archaeological services to our clients.
Alex Cassidy-Neumiller has been active in the field of archeology for over a decade. He has performed academic archaeological excavations and commercial archaeological assessments in five different countries across two continents. He has a B.A. in Anthropology from North Dakota State University (NDSU) in the United States and an M.A. in Archaeology from Durham University in the United Kingdom - a top 10 university in the world for the field of Archaeology. He has overseen the completion of hundreds of archaeological assessments and has authored or co-authored as many technical reports. Alex was an Archaeological Principal Investigator in North and South Dakota and is currently a consultant archaeologist with a Professional Archaeological License (#P1311) in good standing with the Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism of Ontario. He is a member of the Ontario Archaeological Society (OAS) and the Association of Professional Archaeologists (APA). He is the Founder and CEO of Apex Archaeology Inc.
